Ah but Des...we shorties have so many advantages!

More leg room in planes/cars.
Fewer head injuries/stooping requirements from low ceilings/door lintels.
Several significant health advantages (yes, really! Google it.)
Kids relate to us like one of their own.
You look younger for longer.
When you get to be an OAP, you don't get decrepid, you get cute!
No so far to bend when you drop stuff.
Spotting and picking the hidden cache of low growing blackberries left behind by the tallies.
A safe place to store (and later access and consume) the most desirable delicacies in your fridge at the back of the bottom shelf.
And for you, more spontaneous kisses from your dearest!

Yes, that last one is true too! My husband is 6 foot, I am 5 foot. If I want to give him a spontaneous kiss, I either have to drag him down by the collar, or set an ambush by waiting on the bottom stair in our house until he passes by. lol!

Hmm yes I know that list is all true because as a tall person I feel the pain of all those situations lol

When my dad looked for a new car the main criteria was leg room at the back for us tall kids.
Planes are the worst, the lady in front of me hated me cause couldn't keep still and my knees where basically against the back of here chair lol.

Also at the workplace you become the ladder replacement for hard to reach stock

Not looking forward to the health disadvantages if that is true though Tree =(

Ah yes, though to be honest, it's worse not being able to reach high up stuff yourself, particularly when home alone. I'm forever dragging chairs around to stand on. In the supermarkets though, it's a nice excuse to get chatting to someone, though I do sometimes feel like a lion on the prowl scanning around to find someone tall enough to reach the item I want! lol

there's just 1 thing I'm concerned about when getting old, that's my hair.

Will never bother dying hair have no issues going grey, already going grey. But if I start to bald also not going to try prevent it, hope I never do start to bald but if it does happen going completely bald. Not a fan of the overcomb look long hair plus bald patch not a sexy look.
