Using goblinbot to track goblin raids

What is goblinbot?

Goblinbot is a discord bot that announces goblin raids 1.5 minutes before they happen so you can hop to the desired world before the in-game news announcement appears.

How do I see which raids goblinbot knows about?

Type "?list" to see all known raids and times sorted with the next closest raid time first.  You can directly message goblin bot or use the #addraid channel to list the current raids.  

The list command also shows when each raid was last updated.

How do I add or update raids?

Use the "?add" command to add raids or update the timestamp.  Use the chat timestamp of the news announcement to issue the command like this:



It's best to use game time, but the bot will try to adjust automatically if your timestamp is in a different timezone.  You must turn on chat timestamps to get seconds accurately.  Here's an example:

How accurate is it?

Raids occur every 30 minutes +2 - 30 seconds.  The bot predicts next raid at at interval of 30 minutes and 10 seconds.  This works fairly well for several hours, but entries will need to be updated occasionally.

How do I remove an inaccurate entry?

Use the following command in a direct message to goblinbot or the #addraids channel to remove a world from goblinbot's list.  You might want to do this if it has been a very long time since a world timestamp has been updated.

Unpinned this thread, since the botraids thing doesn't appear to be working anymore. Also moved it from FC related to Guids and Tips, since there are still a couple of useful links on the thread about raids generally.
