In Memoriam (HCIM Deaths)

I thought it would be nice to have a place where we could record and remember the glorious Hardcore dead of our friendschat!

If you would like to have your deceased HCIM remembered in a poetical eulogy here, do please post their rsn, and how they died and I’ll do my best! Or feel free to write your own if you prefer.
Total level at death would be nice to record too if you know that.  

May they forever rest in peace in the great Gielinor Halls in the Sky!

RIP The following HCIM:

Khalligor, one of the first to fall victim to Hollowtoof's deadly raids.

Forfiets, the wild, who died to a maniac in the wilderness.

Lil miss ktm, another life claimed by the vicious Hollowtoof.

Fly I, Also a victim of a goblin raid.

Lil miss aly, who passed away during a hill giant encounter.

Radisgascht lost his life during a heart-wrenching duel with the giant mole.

May they all rest in peace :'c

I was with both Khalligor and Lil miss ktm when they took their last breath.

I wish I could've drawn aggro from Hollowtoof, but I swear I will kill him many times over just to avenge you guys. R.I.P.

O Khalligor, your praise will soar
Though death has laid you low,
‘Twas Toofy dealt with ill intent
That sickening,  fatal blow.

Tis true you died, yet not in vain,
We will remember thee;
Twas you who fought to end the raid
For Gielenor to be free!

You caused this maid to die?
The light and star of Gielenor

This warrior maid, alone she stayed,
Miss Ktm fought on.
Alas! She died! All Gielenor sighed
And raised her praise in song.

What evil this, that death’s dark kiss
Embrace a maid so fair?
Our hearts, tis true, are rent in two;
No mourning can repair.

Fly I! Fly I! Where I would fly
You stood your ground and fought.
And to the end, though Toofy rend
And all the world distraught,
You soldiered on, as health was gone
And Death his scythe did reap
Your precious life, through direst strife,
And left your friends to weep.

Where Giants romp with thunderous stomp
Miss Aly ventured round.
Her sword did flash as giants crashed
Their bulk unto the ground.
And yet though strong, she fought too long,
Her arms grew ever weak.
A giant’s mace it found its place.
Why pale, so pale her cheek?
For now death wins. The giant’s sins
Have reaped their dire reward.
Could I be dead in sweet Al’s stead,
All angels would applaud.

Not today, but yet tomorrow)

:O your poem writing skills are impressive!

And to write so many in one day, wow!

(RIP hcim :c)

The glorious deeds of the heroes of old
In song or in story by bards oft' are told,
But none have yet told of the greatest of all,
Of brave Radigascht who was slain by The Mole!

The dread Giant Mole which bored close to the city
With earth piles like mountains, spoiled all that was pretty,
So Rad ventured forth with his sword in his hand
To free Falador from the blight to its land.

First brave Radigascht sallied forth down its hole
Then with swift, slashing sword he hit hard on the mole.
Yet when victory seemed sure, the mole summoned his rage
And with one mighty leap, he laid Rad in his grave!

Alas for brave Rad to be slain by this foe!
All Falador is weeping from so great a woe!

Yes I did die, I tried taking on the giant mole blindfolded while wielding a blunt bronze spoon. Nearly killed it however I lagged and died. My second death was to Hollowtoof

Now a death from a blindfolded battle while wielding a blunt bronze spoon would have made a much more interesting poem! lol

It's remarkable how many HCIMs we've lost to ol' Toofs.

RIP to all fellow HCIM that fell victim to the deadly beasts of f2p, but to the biggest baddest HCIM killer out there lagg and connection Issues. One of the worst ways to go by experiencing technical problems.

And well done Treemaid on the amazing poems you've dedicated to our fallen family of irons, very nicely said.

Our Leah got into her head

Come all folks of Gielinor and gather to hear
The tale of Wild Odob who died without fear.
A brave knight, a good knight, just two days duration,
By vilest marauder he suffered cessation!

He smote hairy spiders, he slew giant rat
And even to bandits he’d shouted “Take that!”
But as Odob battled with fierce anchovy
A high level player perchance him did see.

“I’m safe” thought Wild Odob, “he can’t have his wish,
My level’s too low”. He continued to fish.
Oh tragic delusion that plucked Gielinor’s flower!
The pker returned on another, much lower!

Without e’en a warning, he launched his attack,
No chance for our hero to turn and fight back!
The dark earth was stained with his own noble blood,
And thus, in the wildy, died all that was good.

O vilest destruction! O death and defeat!
The victory of evil o’er good seems complete!
Yet while I even compose this refrain,
A new Wild 0dob is risen again!
