OSRS f2p iron cc - To Treemaid especially

Hey all ,

In the spirit of giving alternative options for OSRS f2p iron cc's;

Treemaid has mentioned an OSRS f2p iron cc called "F2p Iron"

I would like to mention another cc, not to overshadow the one Treemaid has mentioned, but rather to present more options.

This OSRS f2p iron cc is called "F2p Im Clan"

Things you should know about this cc:

They are only a day old, yet they already have about 11 players in the chat at the moment, with about 20-30 clan members. This is because a few of the clan members are hardcore actively recruiting.

Their main aims are:

To make sure the cc does not develop an arrogant and elitist attitude. They have a strong policy against that sort of behaviour.

To be kind, patient, understanding, and helpful towards all players; this includes the less experienced.

All forms of chat are welcome - be that P2p or F2p. But if you are F2p they will give you F2p advice, not P2p advice. However as it is a F2p clan, the owner would appreciate if it most talk was focused around F2p. But P2p talk is welcome, when it is relatively appropriate.

Thanks Kaira. They sound pretty similar to us in ethos, except perhaps a little more tolerant of p2p chat than we are on the whole.
I don't know nearly as much about the cc that I found out about, they hadn't even got a recruitment thread up last time I looked. When I dropped in for a visit a week or two after they got off the ground, there were just two people in chat. Hard to judge from that though.

You popped in at the wrong time, the average can have about five people on average. Since the clan is only a couple of days old, it needs time, but it is growing.

Whilst this clan may have a lighter attitude towards P2p talk, this clan is heavily f2p focused, and I have yet to see any P2p talk.

The owner said he really wants to emphasize f2p talk, but has no desire for micromanaging the cc. As long as P2p talk happens when relatively appropriate; which I take to mean as long as it only happens in appropriate settings like I've levelled up, or I need help, it should be fine. However I need to talk with the owner further for more clarification on what he means by "relatively appropriate"

Ah, that's nice Kaira.
I was actually talking about that other OSRS f2p iron clan I had found previously when I said I'd dropped in on them, not your new clan.

It's not my new clan, it belongs to IM Smelt.

Don't worry I have been speaking with the owner and asking for his permission, before taking the intiative to create this forum post.

The owner may have added Mat and Mat said he will add him, and if the owner feels like it, he might speak with Mat

Mat was just lending a helping hand regarding Smelt's OSRS clan, which the owner has expressed huge gratitude regarding Mat's offer, and seems happy to get into contact with Mat.

However there is no guarantee there will be any contact; and at this point in time, he's going through the struggles of every new clan leader. Trying to figure out how his ranking system should work for one example.

But it's a great clan with friendly players and IM Smelt, the owner, comes across as a mature and friendly player. I think he's a dude worth helping, which is why I went out of my way so much.
