| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello fellow F2pironmanfc members, I would like to share with you all how my side project is coming along, obtaining the elusive full corrupt dragon! InspirationIronnospace, the first f2p ironman that I ever saw with full corrupt dragon. I met him at a crafting guild raid when I was on my main and had not yet made an ironman. He showed me his full set along with all three gud pieces. I still cannot believe how lucky that man is! Radisgascht, the legendary revenant hunter, and second f2p ironman that I encountered with full corrupt dragon. I don’t remember my first encounter with him, but he would later show me the ropes down in Forinthry Dungeon. The HuntIt was mid-January 2016 when I finally worked up the courage and stats to stay in the wilderness for any extended period of time, so I asked Radisgascht if he would show me his method for hunting revenants, and he happily obliged. In the two and a half months since then, I’ve grown to be quite the proficient revenant hunter myself and have amassed a collection of items for your viewing pleasure. * When I first started hunting revenants I was tight on bank space and only could keep the corrupt dragon pieces. I ended up exchanging ten or so artifacts for gold, about 1m worth. After buying a bank booster I have been able to keep all my drops since. Goals1. Obtain and keepsake full corrupt dragon including the helm, chainbody, platelegs, spear, battleaxe, and sq shield. 2. Fill my inventory with their drops. After a bit of research into their drop tables, I learned that revenants have exactly 28 different f2p drops, so I thought it would look cool to have them all fit nice and neat in my inventory. Tab Value3 Chainbodies (72k): 216k 2 Platelegs (72k): 144k 2 Spears (24k): 48k 3 Battleaxes (72k): 216k 1 Longsword (60k): 60k 1 Scimitar (60k): 60k 1 Dagger (18k):18k Total: 762,000 gp* 2 Ancient statuettes (5m): 10m 1 Seren statuette (1m): 1m 2 Ruby chalices (250k): 500k 2 Guthixian braziers (200k): 400k 2 Armadyl totems (150k): 300k 1 Zamorakian medallion (100k): 100k 2 Saradomin carvings (75k): 150k 1 Bandos scrimshaw (50k): 50k 2 Saradomin amphoras (40k): 80k 2 Bronzed dragon claws (20k): 40k 3 3rd age carafes (10k): 30k Total: 12,650,000 gp* The real total: 13,412,000 gp *I value the corrupt pieces according to their high alch values. *I value the ancient artefacts according to their values when given to Mandrith or Nastroth. What is to ComeIf all goes well, I plan to make two more additions to this thread, one for completing the set and another for completing their drops. ~~~~~~ See you all in game! ~~~~~~

| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Progress15 days and thousands of air and fire runes later I am happy to bring you an update on the revenant hunt. Staying true to my first post, I have achieved the first of my two goals (sort of), obtaining full corrupt dragon! Within the last hour I obtained a corrupt dragon sq shield, completing the set. I decided to hold off on keepsaking it until I’ve collected the remainder of the drops. Keepsaking an item removes it from your inventory and turns it into an override, and the only way to get the item back is to break the key. If I keepsaked the set now and did not get another helm or sq shield by the time I’ve completed their drops I would have to break keys to get them in item form for the full inventory. I hope this doesn’t disappoint any of you, and if it does please check out Radisgascht's full corrupt in his post or Treemaid's if you haven't already. Here’s what the tab looks like now: Tab Value1 Helm (36k): 36k 4 Chainbodies (72k): 288k 2 Platelegs (72k): 144k 1 Shield (72k): 72k 2 Spears (24k): 48k 3 Battleaxes (72k): 216k 2 Longswords (60k): 120k 2 Maces (30k): 60k 1 Scimitar (60k): 60k 2 Daggers (18k): 36k Total: 1,080,000 gp* 2 Ancient statuettes (5m): 10m 1 Seren statuette (1m): 1m 1 Zamorak statuette (500k): 500k 1 Saradomin statuette (400k): 400k 2 Ruby chalices (250k): 500k 3 Guthixian braziers (200k): 600k 4 Armadyl totems (150k): 600k 1 Zamorakian medallion (100k): 100k 2 Saradomin carvings (75k): 150k 1 Bandos scrimshaw (50k): 50k 3 Saradomin amphoras (40k): 120k 1 Ancient psaltery bridge (30k): 30k 2 Bronzed dragon claws (20k): 40k 3 3rd age carafes (10k): 30k 2 Ancient statue headdress (5k): 10k Total: 14,130,000 gp* The real total: 15,210,000 gp *I value the corrupt pieces according to their high alch values. *I value the ancient artefacts according to their values when given to Mandrith or Nastroth. GoalsI'm sitting at 25/28 drops and there's no telling how long it will take to get the last 3. I just hope I don't go crazy. ~~~~~~ See you all in game! ~~~~~~

| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CompletedGreetings, everyone. I bring you the final installment in my revenant hunting series. 17 months ago, I set a goal for myself to collect all that revenants have to offer on F2P worlds, and today I achieved that goal. I present to you my revenant drops collection: As always, I've calculated the tab value:1 Helm (36k): 36k 6 Chainbodies (72k): 432k 4 Platelegs (72k): 288k 5 Plateskirts (72k): 360k 3 Sq shields (72k): 216k 3 Spears (24k): 72k 1 Mace (30k): 30k 5 Battleaxes (72k): 360k 5 Longswords (60k): 300k 5 Scimitars (60k): 300k 4 Daggers (18k):72k Total: 2,466,000 gp* 5 Ancient statuettes (5m): 25m 4 Seren statuettes (1m): 4m 3 Armadyl statuettes (750k) 2.25m 2 Zamorak statuettes (500k): 1m 2 Saradomin statuettes (400k): 800k 1 Bandos statuette (300k): 300k 4 Ruby chalices (250k): 1m 6 Guthixian braziers (200k): 1.2m 5 Armadyl totems (150k): 750k 6 Zamorakian medallions (100k): 600k 7 Saradomin carvings (75k): 525k 3 Bandos scrimshaws (50k): 150k 13 Saradomin amphoras (40k): 520k 5 Ancient psaltery bridges (30k): 150k 8 Bronzed dragon claws (20k): 160k 10 3rd age carafes (10k): 100k 11 Ancient statue headdress (5k): 55k Total: 38,560,000 gp* 137 drops Final total: 41,026,000 gp*I value the corrupt pieces according to their high alch values. *I value the ancient artefacts according to their values when given to Mandrith or Nastroth. The piece I was missing for the longest time was undoubtedly the Bandos statuette. Some of you might even remember me questioning whether it existed. Thank you all for your support and words of encouragement in this thread and in-game. Finally, this is a sight that I've been longing for, I've filled my inventory with their drops! - Spoiler:
~~~~~~ See you all in game! ~~~~~~
| I'm impressed, that's all I can say. Getting the last couple of items may make you go crazy. Keep persisting and you will acquire it.
Once again congratulations with the progress.
| Nice going, you definitely have enough to buy the third life when you get to the required total level, hehe. Good luck out there and don't get PK'd! |
| Wow! That tab does look quite 'jucy' lol. I am really amazed to see so many rares in one screen on an ironman! Keep it up Wobbe, I hope you get the full set! Stay safe! |
| I remember the first encounter with Wobbegong, it was during the Falador invasion event on the 24th of October where we were at the corner of the west bank of Falador. While I was killing knights I saw a very impressed Wobbegong asking about my armour, how long it took and what attack style I was using. From the look of his words (typed words) he seemed determined to acquire the full set.
killing revenants requires a strategy that you must use to make sure you consume the minimal amount of food and to also make sure you have an advantage on a possible hostile pker.
If you are interested in this strategy contact me ingame and i am willing to show you myself. |
I bought two bank boosters, but you could get away with just one. I'm nearing my limit even with two boosters because I can't bring myself clean out some of my other tabs. |
