Hey guys, a little bit of explanation of what (and why) this is: I'm at 70 smithing aiming for 85 to craft my rune hatchet, and I was having a hard time mining my iron at rimmington mine (slightly further bank but access to urns) or the dwarven mine (extremely close deposit box but no good option for urns). I timed a few cycles using wsplit and took the averages, then started comparing the runs. The data is pretty self-explanatory, some things aren't 100% accurate (I timed a full 28 inventory of iron, which wouldn't account for the urn you'd have at rimmington) but it's close enough.
The decision comes down to: Do I want the extra 173,852 mining exp, or would I prefer to be done mining 4.5 hours sooner? Since my goal is to get a rune hatchet as quickly as possible, I think I'm willing to sacrifice the 1382exp/hour I'd gain at rimmington mine. Hopefully someone else gets some use from my notes though ^^
