Bossing Lootsharing Tutorial (KBD, Mole)

As most of you that are interested in group bossing may have realized by now, the friends chat's built in Lootsharing system does not facilitate loot share for the majority of the FC and will require a rank to toggle. Because of this, the most viable option for lootsharing within boss instances is via the Grouping system.

Grouping provides the following advantages:

-Easy to setup
-Private and Invite only group channels
-Private chat channel (quadruple-slash preceding the message)
-Can be used in conjunction with FCs and CCs
-Separate Lootshare from FC
-Can be used to inspect other group member's stats, Lifepoints at a range

How to use:

1) Open up the groups menu (shown by the red arrows below, in EoC interface, the menu should be found in the drop-down box.


2) Create a group by pressing the 'create a new group' button.


3) Invite your team to your group by either typing their name into the invite box or right-clicking them in chat and selecting 'invite to group'.




4) As the leader of the group, activate Lootshare by toggling the coins pouch icon in the menu (note that there will be a 2 minute starting period before lootshare becomes active)


After that, lootshare will become active which (ironmen) may use in bossing instances such as KBD. (Group members will need to be in the vicinity of the boss to have a chance at a drop)

[Edit] It seems mole has it's own Lootshare mechanics, so I don't think its necessary to use LS in her lair.
[Edit] Hopping worlds from the original world used to setup the group may disable some features, if this happens, boot everyone from the group and re-create it. LS may need to be toggled on again in this case.

[Update] Frostin and Blaze found that there is currently a bug, which F2p Ironmen are unable to utilize the grouping system lootshare. I've reported this as a bug and hopefully the fix it soon

Ah, that's interesting. I wonder if it's intentional though, so Iron's don't benefit from the efforts of other players?

The grouping system was made available to Ironman accounts for the purpose of bossing/group activities. Its works completely fine with P2P, and F2P regular accounts, however, when it came to f2p Ironmen, it didn't work. Maybe Jagex haven't managed considered KBD or the Mole to be a boss instance in F2P yet. I think it is more of an oversight.
