Just so none of you get lured into malicious websites, sometimes ads will pop up in certain areas of this forum asking you to 'sign up' or 'log in' to see hidden content. This is not part of our forums, and should we strongly advised not to click on it. Below are some examples of the phishing ads:

I'd like to make a side note saying that if you're using ad block, be sure you have it enabled on Runescape, as using it isn't allowed according to Jagex. (Just as a means of precaution)

Agreed. Though ever since browser based gameplay was discontinued, this shouldn't be too much of an issue as AdBlock is mainly browser based
